DO NOT wash or clean the window for 30 days.

This allows the film to cure and to achieve its desired appearance and function properly

General cleaning instructions for your window film

To prevent scratching to the window film, do not use abrasive materials, brushes, scrapers or knifes on the film. Do not apply heavy pressure to the film and not rub the film vigorously as this will damage the film.

Recommended cleaning materials and methods

We recommend only using clean lint free, preferably micro fibre cloths. Non-abrasive, good quality paper towel, synthetic soft sponge or a rubber squeegee can also be used. Make sure you clean from the centre towards the edge and not from the edge towards the centre as this could pull on the edge of the film and cause damage to the film. Light wiping motions, do not press on hard against the film as this could cause scratches. 

Only use non-solvent and ammonia free cleaning solution, preferably dish soap mixed with water. 

Additional cleaning tips

• Make sure you always use a clean cloth to clean the film.
• Always use a different cloth to clean the frame and sills.
• Make sure to use separate cloths, sponges, solution if in a bucket and squeegee for the outside and inside windows.
• When cleaning along the edges of the film wipe along the edge and not towards the edge.
• Wiping towards the edge can damage the film and peel it from the glass.
• Soak stubborn marks with solution for a few minutes then wipe clean with a lint free cloth, micro fibre or soft sponge to remove the mark.
• Do not rub repeatedly or vigorously in one area.
• Do not use low quality paper towels or newspaper.
• Do not use cleaning solutions containing Ammonia.
• Do not leave the film wet after cleaning, always squeegee the film dry.
